I was born in Bath in the late sixties and brought up in a world full of literature and music.

My parents fired our imaginations and both my brother and I have taken creative paths. I love words and the exciting worlds they can lead you to, whether through fiction or by using a computer manual, and very much believe that if you stop learning, you stop living.

I now live in Cornwall and have a 2 year old son which has indeed been a learning curve!

However, I have had the priviledge of working in an editorial role for several companies during my career including:

• Robert Frederick Ltd
• SelectScience.net
• Virgin Mobile

All very different industries and through which I gained a greater understanding of the creative process required when publishing anything from a single report to a reproduction of a Jane Austen novel.
